We are absolutely delighted to say that The Purefoy Arms has been awarded ‘Gastro Pub of the Year’ at the Food Awards England 2018, less than 6 months after opening!
Thank you to everyone who voted for us. We’ve been so fortunate to receive fantastic support from the local community since we opened, some of whom have been dining with Gordon for the past seven years! It’s encouraging to know that people are enjoying their experience at The Purefoy Arms, from the food to the ambience, and all the personal touches we take real pride in.
The whole team attended the 5th annual Food Awards England in Manchester on October 15th to see the pub beat shortlisted venues in Derby and Lucker in Northumberland. The award may be the first for The Purefoy Arms, but it’s the latest in a string of high-profile accolades for chef patron Gordon Stott.
